Christian Youth in Action

Ministry Opportunity for Youth and Young Adults

Christian Youth in Action is an opportunity for young people to share their faith and invest in the next generation. They do this by sharing the Gospel in an outreach called 5-Day Club. 5-Day Clubs are fast-paced and Gospel-centered for elementary aged kids. These clubs take place in different locations around the community.

Kids who attend will learn Biblical principles and values through Bible lessons, memory verses, missionary stories, and fun songs and games. Each day, kids will learn about God’s plan of salvation and how they can receive Jesus as their Savior. Teams of youth and young adults co-teach 5-Day Clubs.

Christian Youth in Action Training

Practical Training for Ministry

Christian Youth in Action Training equips young people to share the Gospel with kids. This summer, teens all over Collier County will be trained to effectively teach the aspects of a 5-Day club with the goal of evangelizing the children.

The Tracks

Depending on your current skills and teaching ability you will be placed in a course of study that will equip you to be a missionary in your community. Click below to learn about each track!

Younger students and those with little or no teaching experience will likely want to start out in the Support Teacher Track. These students must only attend a one-day Regional Training  where they will learn how to skillfully lead the game time, songs and other parts of the club as a support to your team!

Commitment:

  • Saturday, Regional Training
  • At least one week of ministry in Collier County

Assistant Teacher Track

In this track the students will learn storytelling techniques to teach a dynamic missionary story. The Assistant Teacher will also learn how to present a memory verse, how to counsel a child for salvation, and other small parts of the 5-Day Club Program.

Commitment:

  • Saturday, Regional Training
  • Week-long, statewide CYIA Training
  • At least one week of ministry in Collier County

Lead Teacher Track

Recommended for ages 15 and up, or one with prior teaching experience. The Lead Teacher Track increases the student’s abilities by learning how to teach an effective Bible Lesson, which includes a clear presentation of the Gospel and an invitation for children to accept Christ as their Savior. These students will also learn how to present a memory verse, how to counsel a child for salvation, and other small parts of a 5-Day Club.

Commitment:

  • Saturday, Regional Training
  • Week-long, statewide CYIA Training
  • At least one week of ministry in Collier County
