Ministry Opportunity for Youth and Young Adults

 

Christian Youth in Action® is a short term local missions trip for students ages 12 to 22. Students who enroll will attend a one-week in-depth training with students from all over Florida. There they will learn how to effectively teach children about God and present the Gospel using methods and curriculum developed by CEF. After the training, the students will return home and serve in their community and teach 5-Day Clubs® with other students from their area. This is a great opportunity for any student that is interested in missions and children’s ministry.

CYIA  Retreat - Unplugged

​

Come and Unplug for the weekend and connect with your friends from around the state. Our desire is for this weekend to be one that you can catch up with one another, be challenged in the Word, and make a real connection with the Lord. There will be times of worship, sessions to help you strengthen your walk with Christ, group games, and free time. 

 

CYIA Camp and Training: 

​

If you are in middle or high school, have a heart for ministry, and want to team up with other young people to reach the children in your community, then CYIA is for you!

Just think, this summer you can:

• Reach boys and girls with the Gospel

• See your faith and vision grow deeper

• Build new friendships that will last a lifetime

• Grow in communication, teamwork, endurance, responsibility, and self-confidence

• Gain experience for ministry in your own local church, school or vocation

CYIA 5 day Clubs:

​

5-Day Clubs are the Bible clubs that are taught by CYIA students after training. They are held in the community (daycares, parks, rec centers, apartment complexes, houses, etc.) for an hour and a half each day for one week. In these clubs children will hear Bible Lessons, Missionary stories, Bible verses, songs and more. 5-Day Club ®  is completely run by trained CYIA students with an adult to supervise.
